Role Overview
We are hiring a Client Account Manager to support one of Zappy’s U.S. clients. You will manage a large portfolio of active client accounts and act as the primary point of contact for ongoing communication, coordination, and relationship management.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, can manage dozens of relationships at once, and takes full ownership of client experience and retention.
Our clients hire Account Managers on a recurring basis, making this a stable, long-term opportunity with room for growth.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for 30–50+ active client accounts
Manage day-to-day communication via email, phone, Slack, and messaging tools
Build trust and maintain strong, professional client relationships
Coordinate internally with delivery, marketing, and operations teams
Track client needs, requests, and timelines to ensure smooth execution
Lead client calls, check-ins, and ongoing support conversations
Identify opportunities to expand or upsell accounts when appropriate
Proactively resolve issues and prevent churn
Maintain detailed documentation and updates in internal systems

Required Qualifications
Experience as an Account Manager, Client Success Manager, or Client Services Manager
Background in agency, consulting, or service-based environments
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong organization, follow-through, and time management
Comfortable handling a high volume of client relationships
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Availability to work U.S. business hours or significant overlap
Preferred (Nice to Have)
Experience supporting marketing, professional services, or healthcare-related clients
Familiarity with CRMs, project management tools, and Slack-based teams
Upselling or account expansion experience
Pay
$7–$12 USD per hour, full-time contract, based on experience and performance
