Outbound Sales Representative
Location: Remote (with flexibility for overlapping U.S. business hours)
About the Role
Zappy BPO is seeking energetic and persuasive Outbound Sales Representatives to help grow one of our client’s rapidly expanding marketplace platforms. This role focuses on identifying, contacting, and onboarding local kitchen and culinary space owners into a national partner network. Ideal candidates will have exceptional communication skills, a passion for connecting with small business owners, and prior experience working in fast-moving marketplace or hospitality environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Outbound Prospecting & Lead Engagement
- Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and follow-ups with potential partners
- Qualify and onboard local kitchen owners interested in listing their spaces on the platform
- Maintain accurate records of conversations, status updates, and next steps within the CRM
- Sales & Relationship Building
- Clearly communicate the value proposition and benefits of joining the platform
- Guide new partners through the onboarding process, ensuring documentation and listing information are complete
- Build rapport with hosts and help address objections or questions in a consultative, friendly manner
- Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Manage daily activity targets, conversion goals, and outreach metrics
- Collaborate with internal operations and client success teams to ensure smooth onboarding transitions
- Provide ongoing feedback from the field to improve outreach strategy and messaging
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or account development (BPO or marketplace experience preferred)
- Exceptional spoken and written English; comfortable holding persuasive conversations over the phone
- Proven ability to meet or exceed outreach and conversion targets
- Organized, disciplined, and self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) and Google Workspace
Preferred Attributes
- Prior experience with peer-to-peer marketplaces (Airbnb, Turo, Peerspace, etc.) or small business onboarding
- Familiarity with hospitality, food service, or kitchen rental industries
- Passion for connecting with local entrepreneurs and helping them grow their businesses
- Positive attitude, curiosity, and adaptability in a startup-style environment
